Ada saja orang & keadaan yg bisa salahkan atas kegagalan kita. Masalahnya, apakah itu akan perbaiki keadaanmu?

Suami.. Cium, peluk, belai anak & istrimu lakukanlah setiap hari dgn hati tulus. Syukurilah keluarga anugerah Tuhan.

Bekerja mencari nafkah adl usahamu mengasihi keluarga namun tindakan2 yg dapat dirasakan secara nyata jg penting dilakukan.

Istri.. Jika ada masalah sebabkan kesal-marah hatimu, belajarlah utk fokus selesaikan masalah itu tanpa melebar kemana-mana.

Banyak wanita saat kesal-marah, merepet, mengungkit hal tak perlu sehingga memperburuk keadaan keluarga & dirinya sendiri.

Saat marah, pikirkanlah hal apa yg membuatmu marah, dan selesaikanlah itu baik2 tanpa hrs ciptakan masalah lainnya lagi.

Anak.. Saat di sekolah, bertemanlah. Janganlah menyendiri namun jangan pula berteman dgn mereka yg berperilaku tak baik.

Latihlah kemampuan komunikasi dan sosialisasimu. Hanya ilmu pengetahuan saja, tak cukuplah bg gemilangnya masa depanmu.

Malam

Suami.. Malam ini, saat kembali ke rumah, baiklah engkau melihat bagian2 rumahmu. Apakah ada yg rusak? Atau ada kebocoran?

Keadaan fisik rumah yg buruk, bocor & rusak di sana sini, sering sangat menjengkelkan & dapat memicu keributan rmh tangga.

Sebelum terjadi byk kejengkelan & keributan, baiklah engkau memperhatikan & merencanakan ataupun langsung memperbaikinya.

Istri.. Buatlah jadwal tugas di rumah utk anggota keluarga. Mencuci piring, menyapu, me-lap debu. Biarlah semua bergerak.

Byk orang yg malas bergerak, hanya menimbun penyakit & perilaku yg tdk baik. Tak ada org sukses yg malas.

Latihlah anak2mu bergerak dgn aktivitas2 rumah. Terlalu banyak kemudahan akan berakibat terlalu banyak kesusahan nantinya.

Anak.. Orang2 muda sering melihat 1 kegagalan sbg malapetaka besar. Menganggap diri bodoh ketika hasil ulangan buruk.

Menganggap diri sendiri hina saat teman2 mengejek kekuranganmu di mata mereka. Sebenarnya, dunia tidak sesempit pandanganmu.

Orang2 sukses telah mengolah rasa sakit kegagalan mrk menjadi semangat utk bangkit & menang. Itulah yg jg dapat kaulakukan.

Selamat malam Indonesia.. Sebelum beristirahat, sudahkah engkau mengajak keluargamu bersyukur kpd Tuhan utk hari ini?

PhD Scholarship on Restoration of Tropical Lowland Rainforest in Hutan Harapan, Indonesia

Background

Tropical rainforests are being converted to other land uses at a high rate. For the Sumatran lowland rainforest, one of the most diverse forests types in the world, it is estimated that only 2-3% of the original forest remains. Much of this remaining forest has furthermore been exploited by commercial logging, and the remnant forests now appear as islands in the landscape, surrounded by plantations of commercial species such as oilpalm and rubber. This is especially problematic for long term stability and forest dynamics because small patches of forest are poor habitats for endangered flora and fauna. As a countermeasure to forest degradation, to rehabilitate degraded forest and to expand forest patches, new initiatives are being developed in large-scale forest restoration. One of these is the Hutan Harapan (Harapan Rainforest) initiative.

The mission of Hutan Harapan is to protect and restore 100.000 ha of tropical lowland rainforest in Jambi and South Sumatra. Supported by Danida through the Danida Support to Harapan Rainforest (DSHRF) project, Hutan Harapan, is presently offering a PhD scholarship for an Indonesian national in collaboration with University of Copenhagen.

Different forms of forest restoration in South East Asia were developed through the 20^th century. A range of techniques have been developed, ranging from little or no intervention (natural succession) to intensive manipulations of the ecosystem. Recreation of the forest diversity is believed to be dependent on level of degradation, the particular environment (including distance to the nearest forests) and the combination of species applied. However, scientific knowledge that can guide restoration efforts is still scarce. The proposed PhD study will develop silvicultural knowledge relating to restoration focussing on the following topics:

i. Early succession in cleared forest areas. Natural regeneration of tree diversity likely depends on factors such as distance to nearby seed trees and forest, presence of seed dispersers and the level of degradation of the ecosystem. For a number of sites with different disturbance regimes, the vegetation compositions will be studied and the influence of key parameters on the recreation of species diversity will be analysed.

ii. Efficacy of different approaches to restoration with respect to recreation of species diverse forest communities, investments and establishment under different levels of degradation. Based on field trials, species composition of different restoration regimes will be followed to make recommendations for efficient restoration of vegetation and habitats for fauna.

iii. Species ecology and performance under different restoration forms. Tree species have differential responses to different biotic and abiotic growth conditions, and knowledge hereof is essential to management decisions on restoration strategies. Field trials will be used to follow growth of - and interaction between - selected species under several restoration regimes, thus characterising optimum conditions for restoration of individual species.

The results will be of great importance to scientists and foresters interested in protection and regeneration of lowland tropical rainforest biodiversity.

Practicalities

The student will be employed and supported by Hutan Harapan and enrolled at University of Copenhagen. Expenses during studies in Denmark will be covered by the project. Field work will be conducted at Hutan Harapan in collaboration with project staff. The student is expected to follow experiments established by the Hutan Harapan project, as well as conduct independent experiments.

Qualifications

Applicants should be of Indonesian nationality. An MSc in Forestry, Biology or another plant-related topic is required, as well as a level in English corresponding to IELTS level 6.

Assessment of candidates

The assessment committee will be composed of representatives of University of Copenhagen, Harapan Rainforest and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Based on applicants’ qualifications as outlined in the application, a number of applicants will be selected for Skype interviews. Interviews are expected to take place from August 23 to 29, after which applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application.

Key criteria for the assessment of candidates include a master’s degree related to the subject area of the project, the grade point average achieved, professional qualifications relevant to the PhD programme, previous publications, relevant work experience, other professional activities, language skills and interpersonal skills.

After recruitment, the candidate will follow a procedure of formal enrolment at University of Copenhagen. A part of this is to prepare a final PhD project description in collaboration with researchers at Harapan Rainforest and supervisor at University of Copenhagen.

TB CARE I

The Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) carries out the USAID funded TB CARE I project. The objective is to "Decrease morbidity and mortality by increasing case detection and treatment success of pulmonary TB patients in USAID priority countries". KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is the Prime Partner of TB CARE I.

To support the organization on its 4^th year of TBCARE I project implementation, KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV) is currently looking for:

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER – PROGRAMMATIC MANAGEMENT OF DRUG RESISTANT TUBERCULOSIS (Code: 001)

Responsibilities:

Lead PMDT team in providing technical assistance to the National Tuberculosis Program in preparation and implementation of PMDT (Programmatic Management of Drug resistant Tuberculosis) nationally.

TECHNICAL OFFICER – PROGRAMMATIC MANAGEMENT OF DRUG RESISTANT TUBERCULOSIS (CODE: 002)

Responsibilities:

To provide technical assistance to the National Tuberculosis Program in preparation and implementation of PMDT (Programmatic Management of Drug resistant Tuberculosis) in targeted sites.

TECHNICAL OFFICER – PUBLIC PRIVATE MIX (2 Positions) (CODE: 003)

Responsibilities:

Technical Officer (PPM) will be responsible to link public and private hospitals in his/her respective area into the NTP through adoption of the national DOTS strategy; and create a private-public TB control network (including referral links, uniform recording and reporting system, laboratory network with quality assurance).

Qualification:

· Medical Doctor, preferably with hospital back ground

Competencies:

· Minimum 5 year working experience in Public health/ medical science or management (for job code 001)

· Minimum 2 year working experience in Public health/ medical science or management (for job code 002 & 003)

· Excellence communication and negotiation skills

· Knowledge of Project Management and TB program

· Thorough knowledge of MS Office

· People Skills, Team Player

· Good English

Hati-hati iklan lowongan kerja palsu

Rekan-rekan,

Banyak yang mengirim lowongan kerja untuk sekedar mengumpulkan email (email miner) untuk kemudian dikirimi iklan MLM, arisan berantai, bisnis pasti untung, dagang forex (foreign exchange/valuta asing), salesman perusahaan asuransi yang tidak terdaftar, Bandar PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (BBJ), dll. Ada juga yang berasal dari calo tenaga kerja, dll yang "menyunat" gaji Anda jika Anda diterima kerja. Ada juga yang memang sekedar iseng bikin lowongan kerja asbun pakai email gratisan.

Iklan perlu dicurigai jika banyak kejanggalan:

1. Baik pengirim email atau email untuk menampung resume bukan email perusahaan tapi email gratisan (yahoo.com; gmail.com, dll) ataupun email dari internet service provider misalnya @cbn, dll

2. (a) Tidak mencantumkan nama perusahaan atau (b) perusahaannya tidak jelas

3. Memakai nama beberapa perusahaan sekaligus yang digabungkan dan dipalsukan. Contoh: AstraIndomobil Finance. Astra dan Indomobil adalah dua perusaahaan terpisah.

4. Tidak mencantumkan lokasi ataupun alamat lengkap. Ada juga yang hanya PO Box dan dipakai beberapa kali oleh perusahaan yang berbeda-beda. Akan tetapi, para pebisnis forex dan bandar Bursa Berjangka Jakarta banyak yang memiliki kantor di daerah perkantoran yang ternama.

5. (a) Tidak memiliki website atau (b) nama perusahaan itu tidak muncul ketika dicari lewat Internet atau (c) nama perusahaan itu hanya muncul di milis atau web lowongan kerja lainnya.

6. Tidak mencantumkan nama jelas pengirim email.

7. Menawarkan gaji yang terlalu tinggi untuk posisi yang ditawarkan untuk menarik banyak pelamar. Contoh: Gaji 3 juta untuk lulusan SMA.

8. Menawarkan persyaratan terlalu rendah untuk jabatan yang ditawarkan. Contoh: Jabatan asisten manajer untuk lulusan SMA.

9. Persyaratan terlalu umum sehingga banyak pelamar yang akan mengirimkan resume/CV.

10. Iklan lowongan yang menawarkan banyak posisi sekaligus untuk mengumpulkan resume/CV sebanyak-banyaknya.

11. Memberikan persyaratan usia yang rendah (misalnya umur minimum 21 tahun) untuk mengumpulkan resume/CV sebanyak-banyaknya.

Tentunya bisa jadi perusahaan itu perusahaan bagus tapi belum punya website.
Bisa juga email yang dipakai adalah email gratis yang sifatnya sementara untuk sekedar mengumpulkan CV/resume. Yang jelas, email perusahaan terkenal misalnya Bayer, Astra, Indomobil, dll juga sudah dipalsukan dengan memakai email gratis misalnya BayerIndonesia@yahoo.com

Iklan yang jelas meragukan jelas akan langsung ditolak moderator. Tapi tidak mungkin moderator meneliti iklan lowongan satu persatu sebelum meloloskan iklan itu ke milis ini.

Jika Anda menemukan pemasang iklan lowongan kerja yang menipu, tolong moderator diberitahu dan kami akan segera mengeluarkan pemasang iklan.

Jika Anda tidak yakin jika suatu iklan lowongan kerja adalah lowongan yang absah, mohon tidak mengirimkan resume/CV ke perusahaan itu. Moderator tidak bertanggung jawab atas hal-hal yang kurang menyenangkan dikemudian hari.
