Our global competitive environment is increasingly more complex and
challenging. We have tried using existing methods but they are not

SPEAKERS
Chad Smith
Is a partner with the Demand Driven Institute and is cofounder and managing
partner of Constraints Management Group LLC. He has been at the forefront
of developing and articulating the blueprint for planning and execution in
the 21st century. He is the coauthor of Orlicky's Material Requirements
Planning, Third edition, and Demand Driven Performance - Using Smart
Metrics.
He is a frequent consultant to large multinationals and supply chain
companies. He is an internationally recognized expert in the Theory of
Constraints and is a contributing author for The Theory of Constraints
Handbook.
John Marson
is a partner with the Demand Driven Institute Asia Pacific and a director
of Involvation Asia Pacific. After holding senior management positions
with multi-nationals such as Mars and Unilever, he was an associate
director in consulting firms Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG. He works
with a wide range of manufacturing and service organizations, from
organizational culture to all aspects of supply chain management. He has
been involved with APICS for many years, and is currently on the committee
for Instructor Development. He lives in Vietnam, and is the only APICS
Master Instructor for CPIM, CSCP and Instructor training in the Asia
Pacific region. He is a certified trainer for the Certified Demand Driven
Planner (CDDP) Program.
D. MARSHALL SALUDING
is the Vice Chair of IPOMS and a seasoned Supply Chain Professional in FMCG
industries with more than 10 years involved in Operations Management which
emphasize in Production Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution,
Warehousing and Sales & Operation Planning.

IPOMS coba membawa sebuah topik yang menarik dan berguna, dengan mengundang
pembicara yang kompeten untuk topik tersebut.
Kita semua tahu bahwa perusahaan harus mengutamakan kepuasan pelanggannya.
Perusahaan melakukan semua kegiatannya untuk memuaskan pelanggan. Apakah
itu memastikan ketersediaan barang, dengan spesifikasi, kualitas dan harga
yang disesuaikan keinginan pelanggan. Agar efektif dan efisien, perusahaan
kini berusaha untuk berubah menjadi demand driven, yang berarti melakukan
sesuatu berdasarkan permintaan, atau keinginan pelanggan. Dari prinsip
demand driven ini kemudian muncul teori-teori TQM, TOC, Lean, JIT, Toyota
way, dan lain-lain.
Namun kita kini juga sadar bahwa demand driven lebih mudah diceritakan dan
dibicarakan, namun berbeda ketika diimplementasikan. Mengapa?
Kita bekerja berdasarkan kinerja apa yang diukur dari kita (performance
measurement). Bagaimana perusahaan Anda mengukur kinerja nya? Apakah
kinerja yang diatur sudah sesuai dengan konsep demand driven? Apa ada yang
salah dengan pengukuran kinerja perusahaan di Indonesia?
Chad Smith adalah penulis buku 'Demand Driven Performance using Smart
Metrics', yang mencoba membedah bagaimana pengukuran kinerja perusahaan
bisa menjadi 'counterproductive'. Bagaimana sebaiknya kinerja diukur untuk
mendukung konsep demand driven?
Ikutilah seminar internasional yang diadakan IPOMS bersama dengan Demand
Driven Institute dan mengundang pembicara yang kompeten di bidangnya.
