Essential Requirements:

-- About 10 to 15 years Experience

-- Age: 30-35 Years

 

Preferred Education/Certifications

 

-- Educational Qualification: Diploma/Engineering in Electrical

 

Other Requirements: (e.g. IT Skills): Familiarity with Computers, Reporting & Presentation skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Act as PLC specialist for WSA Services.

-          Good team player

-          Ability to gain rapport and confidence if internal and external customers

-          Aptitude for updating related knowledge and willingness to share with others.

-          Ability to work independently with confidence, patience  and at times under stress.

-          Willing to travel extensively.

-          Familiarity with computers.

-          Responsible for service, overhaul, maintenance & trouble shooting of large diesel engines and auxiliaries installed on land and on ship

-          Well conversant with development of PLC based applications and their software.

-          Read and understand the electrical drawings.

-          Execute  Project works independently

Monthly Gross Salary:  Negotiable/Best in the industry

-          Responsible for service, overhaul, maintenance, commissioning & troubleshooting of large engines & auxiliaries installed on land and on ship.

-          Perform the activities independently with full confidence.

-          Supervise the task performed by Wartsila employees or contractor employees.

-          Should able to work on marine installation. Knowledge on thruster & propeller is an added advantage.

-          Good team player

-          Ability to gain rapport and confidence if internal and external customers

-          Aptitude for updating related knowledge and willingness to share with others.

-          Ability to work independently with confidence, patience and at times under stress.

-          Willing to travel extensively.

-          Familiarity with computers.

3)    Assistant Manager, Production Planning

DESIGNATION: Assistant Manager, Production Planning

Company: Textile Industry

LOCATION: Lahore

SALARY RANGE:  Rs. 35,000-40,000/- per month

 

QUALIFICATION:

·         Masters from a reputable institution

·         Any relevant training or certification in Production Planning / Material Management will be an advantage.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience of 3-5 years in material management and production planning, especially in the textile industry is required. Experience in ready-made and custom-made garment manufacturing will be an advantage.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for managing production planning, monitoring of processes and schedules, inventory management, ISO documentation and implementation of safety measures at the factory.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning Functions:

·         Capacity analysis and booking.

·         Calculation of process wise quantity of material required for every new order received from customer.

·         Liaising with sales / marketing for obtaining requirements

·         Forecasting requirement of material (imported and local) on the basis of orders in hand and sales forecasts.

·         Reviewing and preparing delivery schedules of orders.

 

Inventory Management:

·         Managing and maintaining all material movement records within the factory

·         Maintaining updated data entry system of production flow and deliveries

·         Managing and improving the inventory management systems

  • Compiling inventory report for management review.
  • Issuing fabric from Raw Material Store according to order requirements.

 

ISO documentation and HSE:

  • Maintaining ISO documentation and assist Factory Head in ensuring standards are being implemented.
  • Monitoring safety and health standards within the factory premises.
  • Establishing an incident tracking system and providing accurate and timely reports to management.

 

Operational Functions:

·         Monitoring of orders in process as per schedule.

·         Minimizing wastage of materials in all processes.

·         Minimizing time frame for production and delivery of fabrics/garments.

·         Communicating proactively any expected delays in orders process due to various reasons.

·         Making adjustments to meet demands for materials required for unplanned orders or for material shortages.

·         Providing on the job training to other members of the team.

·         Succession planning and developing team members accordingly.

·         Obtaining approvals from relevant authority for local purchases of raw materials

·         Coordinating with procurement department for in time purchase and delivery of material.

·         Coordinating with quality department for quality checks of raw materials.

·         Maintaining effective communication and coordination with all relevant departments to ensure proper planning, order placement, purchases, production and delivery.

 

 

SKILLS:

·         Excellent analytical and decision making skills

·         Strong interpersonal and people management skills

·         Team Player/ Conflict Management

·         Good presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.

·          Excellent time management and meeting deadlines capability

·         Organized and efficient at Record Keeping

·         Proficiency in MS Office

·         Well versed in  ISO 9000 system
