We are a Foreign Investment group in the Wheat Flour Industry in Indonesia and due to our growth, currently we are seeking for high talented individual with relevant skills and experiences.

Statistician
Medan – North Sumater

Responsibilities:

ü Collects from a variety of sources, prepare data for processing by organizing information.

ü Process large amounts of data for statistical modeling and graphic analysis, using computers.

ü Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.

ü Develop an understanding of fields to which statistical methods are to be applied in order to determine whether methods and results are appropriate.

ü Analyzes numerical data, collating the statistics into understandable formats and interpret collected data to allow manager to make informed decisions.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Statistics / Mathematics or equivalent.
Good knowledge of statistical methodology and software for analytical and interpret the numbers from the data sampled using.
Excellent command over spoken English and Bahasa Indonesian.
Strong team player also ability to work independently
Minimum 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field or.
Applicants must be willing to work in Medan.

Burung Indonesia (BirdLife Indonesia Association) adalah organisasi nirlaba yang telah bergiat sejak 15 Juli 2002, bertujuan melestarikan seluruh jenis burung dan habitatnya di Indonesia, serta bekerjasama dengan masyarakat untuk mencapai pembangunan yang lestari.

Burung Indonesia saat ini sedang membutuhkan tenaga ahli untuk melakukan kajian valuasi ekonomi dari ekosistem dan keanekaragaman hayati (economical value of ecosystem and biodiversity, TEEB) di Halmehara Timur, Provinsi Maluku Utara. Secara umum, tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk memberikan pilihan strategi pengelolaan tata ruang bentang alam Kabupaten Halmahera Timur berdasarkan valuasi ekonomi dari ekosistem dan keanekaragaman hayati untuk mendorong pembangunan dan pengeloaan sumberdaya alam berkelanjutan. Kerangka acuan, tujuan, tugas, serta profil yang dibutuhkan dapat dilihat melalui situs Burung Indonesia: www.burung.org

Proposal dapat dikirim melalui email kepada Burung Indonesia melalui alamat email: recruit@burung.org sebelum tanggal 10 Desember 2011.

Proposal tersebut diharapkan mencakup hal-hal sebagai berikut:

· Metode studi yang akan digunakan dalam melakukan studi;

· Rencana kerja secara rinci dengan indikator dan capaian termasuk tata waktu sesuai dengan Kerangka Acuan;

· Rincian biaya terkait dengan pekerjaan yang akan dikerjakan berdasarkan Kerangka Acuan;

· Curriculum vitae (CV) konsultan dan atau anggota tim yang akan terlibat dalam melakukan studi.

Seleksi proposal akan dilakukan berdasarkan kualitas (75%) dan biaya konsultasi (25%). Biaya yang diajukan dalam proposal di luar Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN), dan di luar biaya operasional studi lapangan. Biaya studi lapangan akan ditanggung oleh Burung Indonesia.
