Site Supervisor
AIP-PRISMA, Surabaya based 
Background:
AIP PRISMA, an Australian funded project managed by GRM, has secured a vacant office located in Margorejo, Surabaya, as its main office. The two floor office building and associated warehouse requires a quality fit out to meet the expectations of the program and to accommodate up to 100 staff and visitors. An interior design firm has been engaged to design and undertaken the full and extensive fit out of the office including new offices and meeting rooms constructed, furniture, fixtures and fittings installed throughout and integration of essential services such as internet and phone lines. It is expected that the renovation process will be completed in 2 (two) months.
 
The Role:
To monitor the 2 months progress of the renovation, the program requires a suitably qualified site supervisor to provide oversight of the day to day on site activities of the contractor and any sub-contractors working on their behalf or engaged directly by the program.
 
Selection criteria:Certificate in construction management or civil or structural engineering   
Demonstrated experience in managing intensive construction/fit out delivery of smaller (up to a few 5000m2) of quality grade commercial buildings 
Progress reporting including estimating earned value of program delivery to match progress payments
 
Problem solving and solution focused for day to day construction related issues across the fields of internal hard wall and glass construction, electrical wiring, furniture instillation, internet caballing and others
 Managing on-going relationships between the client and the site activities by the contractor
 
First aid training and experience in rigorously enforcing occupational work and safety standards on-siteFluent in Bahasa Indonesia including able to comprehend construction related documentation and plans with at least some English is an advantage. Applications:

Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new rural development
program which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for
1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will be reached
by June 2017.
 The role:
Lead
the administration and personnel teams on PRISMA. In doing so, the Deputy Head
of Operations will be responsible for all day-to-day HR and administrative
management for PRISMA, working with the program management team, the Head of
Operations and Finance and the GRM Project Manager to ensure effective planning,
coordination, control and delivery of the assigned tasks. The Deputy Head of
Operations reports directly to the Deputy Team Leader.
 Selection criteria:The
